There is no minimum hire period, however, there is a minimum one-week charge. For example, a plate can be collected and returned on the exact same day, but a minimum of one week will still be billed.

Weights vary by size due to the high-tensile 25mm steel thickness. Our plates start at approximately 565kg for the 2.4M x 1.2M size, and our largest 6M x 2M plates can weigh up to 2,350kg.
Yes, we frequently transport machinery purchased through private sales, dealerships, or equipment auctions directly to your yard or construction site.
The lifting hook simply opens up and is fitted into the lifting pin located in the centre of the road plate. The hook is then closed back up and a lifting strap is fitted. As the hook lifts the plate in the centre, it's perfectly balanced and easy to manoeuvre on-site.
Absolutely not. All customer details, pickup/delivery locations, and machinery movement records are handled with strict commercial confidentiality.
If there is a suitable excavator or forklift already on your site, we can deliver using a standard flat deck transporter at very competitive rates. Alternatively, we can organise a Hiab crane truck to deliver and precisely place the plates for you.
We hold comprehensive Carriers Liability and Goods-in-Transit insurance policies to fully protect your valuable assets during loading, transport, and unloading. Full certificates are available upon request.
